About me? – well, it’s really all about you, after all it is your day.
But, there are a couple of things you probably want to know about me...
FIRST Congratulations on getting engaged!
Thank you for considering me to photograph your wedding day.
I always feel extremely privileged to be invited to weddings, and to
accompany the bride and groom through out the day, photographing
their love and the celebrations.
(and who am I kidding - the pretty dresses, and flowers and details too!).
I'm Angie Delarie and I have been taking photo's since I was little.
I'm a country girl at heart...but have been living in Perth for a while now.
I started photography using my Dad's Nikon camera while I was younger.
I continued with photography as a hobby while attending high school at
"St Hilda's Anglican Girls School". This and the love of scrapbooking...
I delved into a photography course at Tafe and continued to blossom.
This is how my scrapbooking business began and went world wide...
This year I completed a photography class at Murdoch University and
came out with a Distinction. This shows the love, passion and dedication
that I have for photography over many years.
I love spending precious moments capturing one of the most important
days in people's lives. I very much view my job as being one of a
storyteller. I only take on a handful of weddings a year-
this ensures that I can dedicate, the time that would be required to
produce beautiful images and a album for you.
Most couples today don’t want their wedding photography to be ‘posed’
or ‘staged’, but rather to show realism and reflect the tone of the
celebration itself but, point a camera at them and most people instantly
feel awkward. So, I take the time to get to know you a little before
the day with a pre-wedding shoot, this helps to put you at ease on your
wedding day as you see how much fun it can be to have myself take beautiful
images of you and how I would do what I do before the big day.
